Sunflower, sunflower bright

My sunflowers were enormous this year. A good six feet tall and bigger than dinnerplates. But although the seeds looked huge too, they were almost empty. Not sure whether it was to do with sooo much rain, but the birds won't be getting much from these seeds. The patterns are great though.

This is what it did look like...hard to get the scale. Next time I'll put a dinner plate next to it...
